>  About Kawaii Wholesale
Kawaii Wholesale is a UK-based distributor of goods from East Asia, focussing on popular cute Japanese accessories, stationery and gifts, and novelty sweets, biscuits and snacks. “Kawaii” is a Japanese word meaning “cute”. We supply our unique products to trade customers all around the world.
>  Applying for an account
To purchase from us at wholesale prices you must qualify as a trade customer, i.e. you should run a shop or work for an organisation which intends to purchase our products in bulk. Individual customers (people not wishing to bulk buy) can purchase our products via our retail store, To apply for a wholesale account, click here and follow the steps to complete your application.
>  Minimum order amount
The minimum order amount is £250.00 GBP, before delivery cost. Products must be purchased by the pack. Pack sizes vary for each product. For example, Milk Carton Plush Charms are supplied in a pack of 12, and Chocolate Pocky Biscuit Sticks are supplied in a pack of 20.

Placing an order
>  How to order
Once your wholesale account has been approved, you will be able to log in and view the catalogue, where all pack sizes and prices will be indicated. You can also view further details by clicking on each product. You can add items to your order form, and adjust the quantities of your order before submitting it. After we receive confirmation of your order, we will issue you with an invoice. Payment confirmation is expected within 5 days of an order being placed, else the order will be cancelled and your account may be suspended. We do understand that from time to time complications may occur with making payment; if this is the case, please contact us for a payment deadline extension.
>  Products with lead time
Some products will have a lead time, whereby the stock is not available immediately in the quantity you require. This means we will need to import the stock for you after you complete your order. The individual lead time is indicated on each product. In the rare occasion that it takes longer than the indicated time to import a product for you, unless we have stated otherwise beforehand, you will be able to cancel it from your order and receive a credit or alternative replacement products.
>  Payment methods
We recommend payment by direct bank transfer, which is free for customers with a UK bank account, and usually free within the EU. We can also accept payment by cheque (in British Pounds only) and PayPal. PayPal charges a fee of 3.4% of the total cost for domestic (UK) payments, and 3.9% of the total cost for cross-border (international) payments. The customer is responsilbe for all payment transfer charges.
>  Further discounts
We may be able to offer further discount to customers wishing to purchase a high quantity of a particular product (e.g. 10 packs or more). This is decided on a case-by-case basis, depending on the product(s) in question, the size of the overall order, and the frequency of orders placed. Please contact us to discuss.
Delivery & Returns
>  Dispatch time
We aim to get wholesale orders ready for dispatch within 2 business days of receiving cleared payment, as long as all of the products are available immediately from our warehouse. If you have ordered products with a lead time, your order will be prepared for dispatch once the stock arrives at our warehouse. We will notify you as soon as possible of any stock level discrepancies, and offer alternative products to you.
>  UK delivery
Customers are invited to use their own delivery methods (e.g. collect from us using a courier service). If you would like for us to arrange delivery, we offer a flat rate of £8.00 GBP. This is usually via the Yodel 48 hour service. Light orders may be sent by Royal Mail. Delivery is free within the UK for orders over £400.
>  International delivery
International customers may arrange collection of goods from our warehouse. Please contact us to make prior arrangements, and we will do our best to meet your packing requirements and prepare customs documentation according to your instructions. If you would like for us to arrange delivery to you, please indicate this at the checkout. As soon as we’ve assessed the size and weight of your order, we will issue you an invoice for the order containing the delivery cost. We usually use a courier or registered airmail.
>  Returns policy
In the rare event that you receive incorrect or faulty products, please notify us within 7 days of receiving your order, and we will rectify the problem quickly and efficiently. If you wish to return or exchange stock that is not faulty or incorrect, you will be responsible for all delivery costs (plus payment transfer costs if relevant) and we should be notified of the return within 7 days of the customer receiving the goods.
